Edit favorites Quick search is great. Can continually type on the same page for different words instead of spamming the back button to find a new word. Great for on the fly working. The differentiating colors make for excellent visual break up allowing for faster reading. Only, the example sentences could use some work. More often than not, the "sentences with word" section doesn't use the word. E.g. "he raised his hand and smiled" doesn't use the word 公式 yet it's given as an example sentence...

No savant but I love it. I haven't used many other japanese gramar apps, so maybe its par for the course, but I adore this app right now. The dictionary was surprisingly intuitive and helpful with suggestion. Most the time I can't find a word I'm misspelling it (google keyboard helps there). Then I got the paid version and the sentence examples are blowing my mind; giving almost each part an explanation on the side. I'm loving it.

The "sentences with word" and "word with kanji" searches have a bug in Tenjin 3.4, that reduces the displayed hits. It has been fixed for the incoming major Tenjin 3.5 update, that will also bring : incremental display and drastic UI responsiveness improvements reading markers simple voice input total search hit count lots of fixes and tweeks

It's available in Tenjin 3.6 Beta 3 (the version in development at the moment). You can try it here : https://play.google.com/apps/testing/org.lakedaemon.japanese.dictionary.pro You have to install a text to speech engine though (there is a free one for japanese from google on google play, it's really good)

This dictionary is really great and should be one of the best for english students. What is surprising though is that only a few english people download it. it is a lot more popular among chinese, russian and korean people.

I love the new update I love this dictionary. It can behave strangely when inputting too fast. But it's easy to get around. I have found it very useful. Thanks for the update, its a massive improvement and it really increases the functionality. Looking forward to using and exploring it.

I'm recording a video showcasing it's uses. Once it is somewhat decent (please be kind with me), I'll post it on the app page on google play. It should help a bit. Also, because of the index structure (it indexes stems), typing too much can be counter-productive or have strange effects : for exemple : loving (stem=lov) brings love in results

Shows a bug on startup After startup shows a screen with progress bars and null pointer exception in building suggestors. I tried to uninstall and install, but did not search for any data that the program could leave and reuse, that did not help, maybe this experiment helps to find the bug. After apparently any click the app works, but I cannot tell if suggestors do their best.

During setup, a screen with progress bars appears. After it disappears, everything should work fine (including suggestions). If you encounter a problem during setup, it can be usually fixed by : 1) tapping "Retry" or "Reset" 2) clearing the app's data in android 3) install anew (last resort) 4) filing a bug report (when everything else fails)

Wish search history and bookmarking functions are there Features are good. The massive reports about search results ordering when searching in english is acceptable. For me, the only remaining feature that will make me full contented is a managable tags, and bookmarking. Please consider them.

UI I really lime this one's functionality at first but decided to switch over to IMI later. You should redesign the UI a bit, just so the result does not look like a big mess
