Our Photo Coverage Calculator is one of those "must-have" utilities that was designed for UAV (or R/C) based aerial photographers who need know the altitude they will be flying at long before the job begins, especially if they're required to file operational information with the local aviation authorities before work can commence.
This utility gives you the information you need, when you need it. Having this information at your fingertips while you're in negotiations will impress your clients. You'll be able to answer their 'what if' questions on the spot.
Based on the camera's AoV (Angle of View) information and area to be photographed, UAV-CC will calculate the altitude required to complete the task.
Ground based photographers can use UAV-CC as well. Let's say you're setting up a shoot to photograph a sporting event and you need to know how far away you have to be in order to capture an image that fills the frame. It's a similar process, as long as you know the AoV of your lens and the height of the subject, then UAV-CC can calculate the distance for you.
Audio and vibrate alerts you at various times, these can be toggled in options. Vibrate is useful if you're wearing a headset (like fat sharks) or the Android device is in your pocket; the vibrate will shake the same amount of times as the current minute remaning, from the 5 minute mark (5 minutes = 5 shakes, 2 minutes = 2 shakes etc). This feature allows you to know how many minutes remain without being able to see the screen or hear the voice.
Different batteries may require different times. Different payloads (gimbals, landing gear etc) will also affect flight times as will the weather so please be aware of this. A dose of common sense should be applied and your fair weather time adjusted to suit. Three save slots have been included for three batteries, or use them for one battery but different conditions or configurations.
Quick Start Guide:
Set the timer up by flying in normal conditions and timing with a stopwatch to see how long each battery lasts. Now slide the bar to that time and press 'Battery 1 - Save' to store your first battery. In future you will need to start UAS Timer and load the saved battery. Repeat for another two batteries or configurations if required.
The UAV Battery Flight Timer will alert you at half time (if flying out for distance you now know when to turn back), 15mins, 10mins, 5mins, 4mins, 3mins, 2mins, 1min and 30 seconds. It will then sound an alarm on completion.
Ideal for the DJI Phantom quadcopter owners out there where you have limited ways of monitoring battery levels, yet might be flying FPV with an expensive GoPro and gimbal.

What is it?
This app is a viewer for passbooks - a passbook could be a e.g. boarding-pass for your next flight, a coupon for a nice hot beverage on the destination, a movie ticket, a membership card - there are a lot of possibilities.
Basically it is a replacement for a piece of paper or plastic you would normally have to carry with you - so lets save some trees and reduce waste!
How does it work?
There are so called pkpass files - you can open them with this app - e.g. when you receive them via email or get an Download-option. The most important content is the BarCode ( QR , AZTEC & PDF417which authorizes you most of the time - but it also has other interesting content like a description - often a time ( that you now can add to your calendar ) - often also locations ( to give you directions ) - just try It out!
The app is offline usable once you downloaded the pass!
I stumbled uppon Passbook files when i received my ticket for the 29c3 - I liked the Idea ( even though this is from apple which I am not a big fan of normally ) - but there was no Android App which was working for me. I saw that the implementation is quite easy ( just a zip container with json and images ) - The first version was build very quick & was working for me ( got entry to 29C3 ) - In the following year I have not worked on this app much as I had no real use-cases but there where a lot of users downloading the app ( nearly 100.000 now ) and I fixed processing of some passes that where send to me ( some passes contain really broken json .. )
One year later - just before the 30C3 - I came to work a bit on this app again - for 2 reasons:
- a friend of mine is very into this whole BTLE thing and location beacon / context aware thing could be interesting for Passbook - but nothing ready yet
- I got a mail from a Luis Torrecilla - an very nice designer who did a great redesign
This all was leading to PassAndroid - a completely new version - with a new look and new functions ( sorting and adding to calendar alongside pull to refresh a navigation drawer and contextual ActionBar menu )

Exposes the action PICK_BLUETOOTH_DEVICE to start the BluetoothDeviceListActivity which scans for Bluetooth Devices, shows them in a ListActivity and returns device info when a device is selected by the user.
This is done to deduplicate code between APPs - the code is graduated from the DUBwise Project and used in the upcomming DUBwise for UAVTalk APP.

Quick start guide
Download the Hackatron app from http://tinyurl.com/hackatron .
Enter your username and the IP address of your Google TV set. (You can also steer your avatar via Google TV keyboard --> see the key bindings)
Press the red circle on your android smartphone when you are ready to start.
The game starts now: move your avatar to the left or to the right using the button on your smartphone or using the key bindings on the keyboard of your Google TV.
The game ends, when you collide with another player or when you reach the border of the screen.
The GoogleTV app conists of a UI component and a server side socket, which keeps the TCP/IP-based connects with the clients.
The clients sends a set of easy commands to the server to
set the username,
to indicate readiness to start the game and
to steer the avatar to the left/to the right.
The commands are not confirmed by the server.
The server waits for clients connecting to the socket via Port 4225 (=H-A-C-K).

- Prove that a certain damage existed before a given time ( rental cars, flats, .. ) by proving the existence of an image of this damage at a certain time
- Prove that a certain idea ( text ) was existing before a given time ( e.g. for prior art arguments against patents )
First you select a picture or enter text - then the system checks if the existence is already proven and prints out the time if so. If not you get the option to prove the existence now by transferring one Satoshi to a calculated address.
The money is going nowhere ( or to a random stranger ) - but it is so little that this should not matter. Note: it can take some time until the existence is signed by the network - especially with these small amounts ( you can increase the amount if you want faster signing ).
