Please fix Good app overall, but....Would be great to update to my location. At the end of the day, so many times, I've pulled up the wrong schedule due to the app still showing home station location from morning commute, when I need to see the schedule for return home at the end of the work day. Users miss this detail often. AND MISS TRAINS. &Please allow users to see train times that have passed, for longer or indefinitely. People need to reference it sometimes to see where the transfer takes place when they forget.
New Feature: Ads I don't often write reviews for apps, but I just had to say something about this one. The greedy MTA couldn't leave well enough alone. This useful app, which was just fine the way it was, now includes advertising. I'm quite sure that with the constant fare hikes they could have easily afforded to keep putting this out for free. Their relentless, naked greed is just shameful. Drop the ads and I'll give this app five stars, because honestly that's what it would otherwise deserve.
Doesn't Work I downloaded this app the other day and have tried it multiple times, even after restarting my phone. It doesn't work at all, a blank, white screen comes up with just advertisements on the bottom. The actual app never seemed to load/appear.
Clunky and slow. Slow, clunky and they added ads?! Really? Bad enough they hike fares yearly now..and the app could be much better. I'm trying out alternatives now. App was good early on but performance went downhill.
Annoying flashing Ads. Now Ad supported, rather annoying flashing Ads and singles ads. So bottom of the barrel adds to maximize revenue. Already pay enough to LIRR without having to have this junk in the app. Will look for a 3rd party app for schedules. The information provided by this app for delays is usually several hours out of date anyway.
I just started using this app but I already have some feedback. The app is either not very responsive or there are places I'm supposed to double tap where I would normally expected to single tap. The animations between screens are not very smooth and in a few places the animation seems to get "stuck" between before completing. The UI is also not very intuitive. For example, I searched for a trip between points A and B and while the app showed me the scheduled arrival times for t he various stations it did not indicate if those were actual times. I finally realized I had to go to "arrival countdown" to check on the status of a train arriving at a particular station. A lot of the UI elements look like an IOS app and I'm betting that this app was created with some kind of cross platform development tool which would explain some of the issues I've described above.
+ New Feature: Try a long press on Trip Search Results to share Trip Details!
