generally a very nice app but it seems to have stopped connecting to my account and won't give me the chance to fix that. i keep getting "twidere could not authenticate you may need to sign in again" but I can't find where I would do that, so as of now it's just broken. googling the message didn't bring up a way to fix it either. if this keeps up I'll have to move to a different app =(

Sorry for the inconvenience - we fixed many bugs (DM, RT, etc) in 4.1.1 -- have a try?

Until recently, this was the best Twitter app for Android. Open source, strictly chronological feed, no ads and good UI. Sadly, in late 2019 the developer has abandoned this app, i.e deleted it from the app store. At that time it also stopped working due to twitter API changes/API key issues. It would have been nice if the developer had pushed some last update that displayed an announcement before the retirement of this app.

Sorry for the bad experience. And we're back! The new version of the app is more stable and the update is available now.

Like it! Started looking around for a client that didn't mess my timeline up and this is so much better than the official app. One problem I've increasingly noticed is that media content posted by someone using "Twitter for Advertisers" does not show up in tweets, you have to do "Open in Browser" to see it (and unless the tweet refers to the media, it's not always obvious that there is media in the tweet). Update: All good things come to an end. X com blocking 3rd party wins out.
