Also, my friends have found using this application to be a fun way to learn basics of new language. :)
The application includes 1000+ icons, categorised and accessible through search. It supports French pretty well, and there is a prototype for English.
Other features include:
* recent pictograms (each category has a tab listing most recently used ones)
* icons tagged with the 6 SPC colors (actions, names, descriptives etc.) for easier identification
* option to display text in capital letters
* option to softly speak each individual word when icon is pressed
* compatibility with both tablets and mobile phones
DONATE TO HELP THIS IMPROVE:
If you liked the application, you may donate to allow me to add new features/improvements much more quickly: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=DY6954755BM48
* Make sure you have a text-to-speech engine properly installed (depending on your device, go to “Settings –> Language & Input-> Text-to-Speech output”, or to “Settings->Install voice data” or alike).
* To use French or English you have to set your phone/tablet language to the one you wish to use (go to your phone settings)
The application includes 5000+ ARASAAC pictograms limited to non-commercial use (Creative Commons) that must be redistributed under the same licence.

How to use Easy Speak:
It’s easy! Simply click the buttons and Easy Speak will say what you clicked. You can create thousands of complex sentences with the predefined words that cover a variety of daily tasks like using the bathroom, eating, taking a bath, and going to bed.
With Easy Speak, the user clicks the on screen buttons and your device will say that word or phrase. specific words are color coded to make finding crucial words easier to help the user increase their speed completing sentences.
Type and Speak:
Easy Speak also includes a text to speech area where the user the click on the bottom text box that says ’Enter text…’. This allows them to type ANYTHING they want and Easy Speak will say it back in clear english using text to speech technologies!
What sets Easy Speak apart from other AAC's are two things. Easy Speak uses the Sound Board approach with predefined words that wrap around the screen and are always there as the user navigates through the context specific Panels. The Panel is in the center of the screen and is colored blue to separate it from the other buttons. This panel approach has folders with key things like Food, Bath and Bed Time activities, ect. that the user selects to bring up relevant words and phrases for that activity.
I would love to hear back from the users on this app. I'm always interested in improving my apps and never want to disappoint my users, so take the time to let me know how I'm doing, or what areas of the app could use improvement.
PLEASE NOTE: It is always best to seek professional consultation as to what is best for the patient! Easy Speak is meant to be a extremely low cost AAC solution.

PexPix+ (Autism) (formerly Pecs Pics+) is a picture application that allows you to set a picture of your choosing to a square. (Generally items that your child is familiar with and would like to be able to request) Then you can record your own word for that item in the picture in any language you would like. Once your voice is recorded the child can simply tap the picture to play your recording. Therefore being able to make a request with your own words.
This is created for the correct usage of pecs and that is to use pictures as your child's vocabulary. This is often mixed up with using pictures for the parent or therapist to tell the child what they want the child to do. That is not pecs.
This is created for non-verbal children with Autism or other learning disabilities.
*This is my first app ever created. I decided to make this because I was tired of having to pay so much money for applications and device's that are for autism. I do not understand why these companies think that when you have an autistic child that you have the finances for something like this!
That device is $230.00 USD! I have always wanted something like that for my son who is on the spectrum and non-verbal. After seeing that price and realising that nothing is going to be done for this at a lower price I decided to make one myself. *
**Please leave me feedback and if there are any requests please let me know and I will do everything I can to accommodate the users.
It is recommended to professionals, friends and relatives of people with autism, dysphasia, TEA, Down´s Syndrome, and in general, children just strengthen oral communication.
