The app works ok. My biggest complaint is the time lag from the alert to when the call audio is available. It can take 30 seconds for the audio stream to start. In the world of electronics, that is days. I know they must be storing the data stream and then streaming it from storage. To me, as a first responder, that's not acceptable. No reason it can't be streamed immediately, or at most a couple of seconds delay.

The app is great... if you have it in your pocket when it goes off. 4 times I've been on the phone when that GD high pitch beep goes off!!! It hurts my ears and will cause hearing loss! Fix this! It doesn't need to do that when the phone is in use! I've tried to turn it off! What the heck guys!? I want it to beep so I can hear it. But NOT WHEN THE PHONE IS RIGHT BY MY EAR! Oh thank God! I did update the app and really hope that fixed it! I need the volume up... just not when I'm using it.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with the volume of alert notifications when on a phone call. We corrected this issue in a recent update, if you update the eDispatches app to the most recent version, the alert sound should now play at a much lower volume when on a phone call.

The old version was better. I got a cad notifications for an auto accident in my town the the hwy and town where correct when I clicked directions. It said the crash was 2.5 hrs on the other side of the state when it was really 2 miles away. I do not like the cad I wish it would just page out like the old version.. also doesn't pop up when you get an alert it just tones then I have to open the app. I gave the app permission to override everything but it dont show up.

We recommend double checking the scene location before clicking on directions. Sometimes the location may not be accurate if the address from the CAD is incomplete, partially inaccurate, or ambiguous. If you do not believe this is the case, please contact our support team with the details of the CAD.
