Not optimized for mobile This is pretty much a straight port of the desktop version, so its really only usable if you have some kind of (typing) keyboard attached. This makes it pretty much unusable on modern mobiles. Might as well use another tracker in an emulator, because many emulators have better touchscreen support than this.
Works perfectly on a S6 Edge! It's (of course) a ported version of Milky tracker for android so it's not gonna look much different than the real deal so expect to not really be able to use it without an external display setup. I use this mainly to play modules I have saved on my phone, so all in all, thanks to the dev for this neat little project!!💙
Got some little troubles with .mod, the screen flashes sometimes and it's nearly impossible to edit the pan or volume in instrument editor without a mouse. But besides these little flaws, so great to have a decent tracker on a portable device like this !!! :D Hope it will have some updates that will arranges these ! 2017 UPDATE : TABLET HIGHRES LINK DONT WORK ANYMORE. :(
Great but it can open S3M... I like modules and this tracker is no exception. I compose modules, but not with milky because it's confusing. It can also read s3m files even with the error, try it out. I will give you 4 star if you add in this info about s3m
Trackers and touchscreens don't mix The thing that made trackers great was the ability to control them entirely using a keyboard. As tablets and phones don't have keyboards it doesn't make sense buying a keyboard for them, you may as well just be on a PC. Milky tracker was an average tracker back in the day, it's interface was akward even back then but then I was an impulse tracker fan, 100% keyboard shortcutes.
Great on Desktops, not so great on mobile. The tracker on its own plays well on mobile phones as well as platforms like Windows. They act all similarly, though I seem to have a problem with the mobile version. Using the Windows version prior, I find the mobile version incredibly cramped (the high res version seems to fix this problem) and in need of an update for the platform. I'm not saying they need to go to Material Design or anything (though that would be really nice), they just need to polish the current program and find out what's wrong with
Fixed more drawing bugs.
