The best, and has it all. I could not want anything else from a calculator. I have tried others, but all fall short somewhere. This one sets up your expression in a well structured way, fractions, exponents and all that, and has lots of functions (cos, ln, !, etc.) and constants (pi, e) built in for you to use. It even solves for x!
Best Calculator app, period. This calculator is simply the best I've ever used. The amount of features are just staggering, and it works so much better for long calculations than 90% of other calculators out there. My only gripe is that the UI looks like it crawled out from late 2007. A bit of material goodness would likely make this app soar in popularity, as people tend to judge apps by their icon, and frankly this one looks unimpressive. If the dev is still around, I implore you to update this apps' UI and make this app fantastic.
Excellent app but... The app claimed it was "expired" and forced an upgrade at the play store. How does a calculator expire? Do the numbers go stale or the functions wear out? It was bloody inconvenient whatever the reason as I was out of a service area at the time and couldn't upgrade so I was stuck without a calculator. Well thought through there guys.
Doesn't work on small screens Awesome on high-res portrait displays, not so much on anything else. No keypad options, and with the current setup in landscape all of the number keys are off screen, making the app completely useless. Even with my FHD phone it won't rotate to landscape when mounted for GPS use. Seriously needs to support landscape mode and small screens.
It's small. It does maths just like you learned in college. It draws graphs. It even does conversions. The way it opens a new work-page so often is odd, and closing them isn't intuitive. However these don't even warrant dropping a star.
Very nice calc. Lots of functionality and a good design. One minor annoyance is that the swipe feels unresponsive. It should behave the same as in the rest of Android: not wait until I lift the finger, not restrict the dragging speed; follow the finger as soon as dragging starts, and snap to the closest position when released. A few other features I'd like to see: - For simple calculations, show the result on the same line. - Show the calculation history on the same screen, above the current calculation, easily scrollable. - Engineering notation only outside a defined range. - For engineering and scientific notation, shortcut buttons to shift the decimal point of the result by 3 places left or right (adjusting the exponent). - In the graphs, allow pinch gestures to zoom in/out.
