A simple wallet for Bitcoin Cash that looks and feels great.
Designed with the non-technical first-time user in mind and as such does not require you to have a deep understanding of the protocol or technical identifiers and will never force you to make a complex over-engineered backup upon first start.
- Easy to use
- Free Cash Accounts
- Shockful of bugs
This is a beta version uploaded to the play store to encourage testing and feedback. Use it at your own risk.
Practically guaranteed to fail.
Having reliable and userfriendly backups is important. This version will add support for a backup user interface, NFC backups and file based backups as well as import of backups from private keys, seed words and NFC tags.
v0.6: Transaction metadata
Being able to inspect a transaction is useful. This version will add a transction details screen and build support for transactional metadata storing at minimum the intended sender, recipient, unit of account, value and a timestamp.
v0.7: Spending and application locks
When it's really easy to spend money, it is a good idea to have some safety mechanisms in place. This version will add configurable locks, both for the application startup and for limiting transactions from spending more than a certain amount unless authorized.
v0.8: Reminders and translations
While backups are great, they are only great if they actually work. This version will introduce triggered reminders that will help the user properly maintain their wallet by verifying that their backups still work, and to actually do a backup if there is funds in the wallet. This version is also the last version that changes the user interface, so will represent the final state of the design, and it's time to start adding new translations.
v0.9: Reusable address support
Reusable addreses allows strong privacy while still compatible with a great user interface. With this feature in place, the last part of the design intent has been fullfilled and once tested sufficiently the wallet is ready for public release.
v1.0: Public release
v1.x: Additional features
With the core functions in place the work begins on building out more convenience and luxury features - but only those that will not degrade the user experience. CashID and Scheduled/recurring payments are examples of things that will be added once the core wallet works well.
