Why don't smartphone web browsers put the address bar above the navigation bar where it's easier to access on phones with larger screens that are now more common rather than below the hard to reach status bar? I can't fault Firefox for being like every other web browser in this way, but it gives no real incentive to use it over Chrome if you're already heavily invested in it. Another usability issue Firefox has is that there's no quick, easy way to switch between tabs. How is it that Chrome is the only browser that lets you swipe between tabs? I tried to like this app, but it's just wasting space on my phone at this point. Maybe if I used Firefox on my PC, but I don't.
Can you please stop putting hidden advertising in the address bar? One less star for you until you fix the problem. Is annoying. Also, cannot be trusted downloading big sized files. It always fails.
Something went wrong. My s-notes were all gone. I've saved stuff in my notes for years. So disappointed. Recipes and all kinds of lists and reminders, memorabilia. Empty. Extremely hurt by this. Before I installed this app the S notes were there. I think they were supposed to sync but didn't. I love FF on my computer. Not so much on my smartphone.
I love Firefox. It's so much better than Chrome. However, the reason I fell in love with the browser for my phone is because I could play YouTube videos and turn my screen off and just listen. Now I can't. :( Might have to change browsers again.
You still can't import Bookmarks from other Browsers anymore? And you still can't create folders or move Bookmarks to folders to organize them. It's really annoying! I like having my Bookmarks organized instead of just there and on Firefox on Android I can't have them organized. You can go and organize them on the PC version but I don't have a PC or Laptop at this point so I can't. It's annoying!
all YOUTUBE VIDEOS STOPPED PLAYING IN FIREFOX! has Youtube/google caused this to force us to buy Youtube red and pay monthly fees? It just happened suddenly earlier this week. Videos play in youtube app and stopped in Firefox completely. No more plaging youtube in the background. "Video cannot play because the file is corrupt" is the youtube message...yeah right!
