A friendly feature needed! :) I am using open source Firefox since 2006 and now I starting to understand why I should stick to it, learning more about open source. One feature though is missing from the android app. I've used the Chrome app also, and the scroll-down-to-see-your-tabs feature was really friendly. If you can work it out it would save lots of time for many people. Thanks again and keep rocking!
Great potential, steadily improving! Stable and functional browser wlith best adblock support via add-on. However some improvement would be appreciated: 1. Proper mobile version of Google search page (instead of limited "simple version") 2. More Material design (e.g. progress bar) 3. Improved scrolling speed / performance for some pages (e.g. The Verge, Google+ etc.) 4. Sorting and folder support for bookmarks (without using Sync) 5. Customizable menu (like in desktop version) 6. Better player for embedded videos
Only truly open and free browser. There's none like it. If you care about privacy and intellectual freedom, there's no other choice. Just use it, the Internet will thank you.
Firefox for Android just keeps disappointing I am a long time Firefox user, on the desktop it's perfect, but on Android it just keeps disappointing. I've been using it exclusively on my mobile phone for years, patiently waiting for it to get better, but it's not. Right now it's crashing constantly. And my patience is running out. I don't know why, I don't care. Just fix it!
when I "update," beta auto-magically moves from SdCard to Device Storage, why??? don't write, "bug fixes," w/o naming bugs allegedly fixed. V42.0 beta fails some website logins, that work AOK in released Ff4A V41, with no error messages to go by. Since V40.0 beta, "update" moves app to Device Storage, when previous version had been moved to SDcard by me. RESPECT where I've moved beta to and stop changing WHERE I've put those bits when "updating." and what about FOXACID *security* patches??? what about ironclad bypass of Android Stagefright codecs???
It my daily driver I've started using this over chrome. I especially love the adblock tools! Great job!
