Review from Ko Might
Tagu addon not supported
I like beta because it updates more frequently than mainline, but less than every day like the nightly build. I wouldn't use a non-open source browser period. I should have control of my device, what it does, and how it does it, but because the web software is extremely complex and hard/long to write code for, I'm at the mercy of others to provide the software, but that's where open source steps in and saves the day. I will always have freedom to choose, and freedom to change the data and experience I want.
Font sizes web pages are not changing according to system font size. Too slow compare to chrome. Give us options to arrange pinned sites, bookmarks. Inbuilt player is very basic, not even has volume, brightness gesture controls. Some webpages are not formatted for mobile correctly, and not displaying all information on web page.
I have used Firefox before and switched to opera then switched to Microsoft edge. The reason I switched to those is because web pages take for ever to down load. I am back with Firefox but I want to leave because web pages take for ever to load on my android phone and my laptop
On my Asus tablet, this Beta version freezes and kicks me off whenever I go exploring the Internet.. Never had that problem with original Firefox, so I'm uninstalling this and going back to original Firefox which I really like a lot!! Its quick, and has awesome add-on's...
At least the bookmarking is handled a bit better although it is still dead basic. New bookmarks are ALWAYS added to the top level and must be individually edited into the required folder. The same thing happens when you want use a bookmark, you ALWAYS have to start from the topmost level.
This pairs nicely with Firefox quantom, which I just switched to from Chrome. Seamless transition. All passwords synced an auto fill just like your used to. And this browser isn't after you're advertising information, open source makes it a lot safer.
