Doesn't work with my 0.26 back end. But given that the version number clearly indicates that this is Alpha release, rather than the hopeful Beta tagged by the devs, this is probably expected. Perhaps try again when they think it is more or less stable - and indicate this by moving to version 1.0?
You are my hero! Works great. Need to change backend profiles so i can play natively instead of HTTP stream. Thanks you Mr. Dev!
missing nearly all useful functions A decent proof of concept, however its missing the most needed features such as live TV stream, guide format (opposed to channel format), the ability to schedule new recordings, and chromecasting. FYI, free is appropriated for a beta or alpha release, but some monitization would allow folks to help you help us. Its nice to have free apps, but something like this wont ever really be able to be truly useful unless its financed.
Very poor implementation Do not use this program. I'm very sorry to say this but it really does not work well. I hope that the authors re think the way it works because it's really a hit and miss affair at the moment.
Works with 0.27 Brief test shows it works with my 0.27 mythbackend. Network auto scan doesnt seem to work, but manual http url does. Video playback working with MX Player and VLC (seems more stable with VLC)
Promising Concept Everything useful is a placeholder. Uninstalled as its not worth the memory it occupied. When its working I give it another shot.
Beta testers will get a current 1.20.x version
