Updating my review to ask "what happened to the recently heard section?" I used it to share stories since there often wasn't enough time at the end of the story for me to get to my phone and share a story (or I might have wanted to wait until I thought more friends wetter online). Still love the app and use it several times a day. It's the first app I tap on in the morning and the last I use at night.
App constantly stops to buffer. If I don't switch to the app immediately it will automatically stop playing whatever I was listening to and start airing the news instead. So it lags and pauses once every 1-2 minutes and then switches to something else. I'm extremely disappointed.
Uninstalled this app because it was buggy. I followed a show, decided it wasn't for me, and unfollowed it. The next day, it'll okay that show for me and say I'm following it. I unfollow it, and it comes back each time. It's incredibly frustrating.
Had this app for years, the last several updates have brought it back to a good state. Still a lot more to go though: still have to hear stories I've already heard St times (would like a "I've heard this" button) streaming issues happen.
Good app but kind of glitchy. There should be a way to clear cache so I can replay podcasts without it skipping to the end randomly.
I was skeptical at first, but I love love love this app. It's a mainline to all of my favorite podcasts, and it shuffles in news in a way that still feels like you are listening to the radio, but with the ability to skip programs you aren't interested in. The podcast subscription feature is great, too. It serves up episodes in your feed and occasionally plays new programs it thinks you might like. The algorithm is unobtrusive, and I didn't feel like my news or podcasts got stuck in a rut. It's a great companion while you are cooking, cleaning, or relaxing around the house, and having it in your phone means you don't have to worry about disturbing anyone who doesn't love the NPR Politics podcast as much as you do. If you are a fan of NPR, or are looking for some great podcasts, download this app.
