Good start This lightweight application is very useful. But maybe for better user experience I hope it'll keep in standby mode (and minimized) after I close the main window. I also noticed it asks me to make sure banshee database is on my SD card while I have no option to check it directly from the application. I think this issue is come with Android recent permission to write the SD card. IMHO, it'll be better if user could choose where to put the DB.
Almost perfect Very nice interface. Maybe a bit techish for beginners with the ips and ports and stuff, but when it's up and running, it runs surprisingly smooth. For 5 stars: Add function to change volume. Perhaps using the volume rocker would be intuitive?
I love it but it needs work. This app is great but it needs a few bug fixes that I've found over the past fgew weeks of using it. - I cannot remove and old server that I have added. - On my computer if I select a band such as "The Arcade Fire", then on my phone using the app, cannot change Artists. It will only continue playing the band selected on my computer. I've tried to change artists from my phone many times but it doesn't do anything but go back to the current song playing. I've also tried changing songs/artists by chooseing a different genre/song. It would be nice if there was a "Play All" instead of only being able to play one artist. The Banshee app also crashes a lot. Version 4.4
Good Begginings Very cool app. I love how linux is finally getting into the light. This app is great if you have some general linux knowledge to get it going. Only thing I'd say is to have better integration into Banshee's categories (like videos, playlist, ect). Would give 5 stars if it was a little more easier to get it connected to network. Overall very good remote app.
Coolest app ever I absolutely love this app, and yesterday I found out that when it is open and the phone rings, it pauses the music. One features I would request: scroll/search through current playlist in addition to library. I might contribute the code when I get time :)
Has everything you are looking for in a remote app. After just a few configurations, everything works as it should. It has everything essential you'd expect to have in a remote.
Removed the port 7 dependency to get through the firewall. Opening port 8484 should now be enough.
