Amazing app! Way better than the iPhone version because it keeps your history, tracks streaks, and reminds you with adorable icons like little strawberries to log your daily dozen! The check boxes are also more practical. This app has changed the way I eat and the results have been life changing! Instead of feeling deprived by thinking about what I cannot eat, this a makes it a treasure hunt to find all of the things I'm trying to eat in a day.
I love this app, it's really handy and I've started planning my evening meals to make up what I missed in the day. The only thing that would make this better is if it had a section which ranked the dozen in order of how often you meet the target. That way I would be able to see what I wasn't so great on so I can plan more in for the next weeks meals.
The Dr himself seems to do a lot to inform people of correct eating habit with FActs. And that is more then what the industry is doing with it's wacky fact... In a land of "statins" everyone is on a pill or 2 but no one is getting better. I've Islamic text on food and the Dr book how not to die confirms my belief in the text I have read..."all diseases start from the stomach"
No ads, great way to make sure you are getting everything you need in a day to stay healthy! Also has links to all foods suggested with informative videos to learn from! This is what we need to help people.
It helps me remember what I missed in a day. You get soooooo busy and need a reminder to stay on track. In also keeps you in the habit of what you ate if you are forgetful and don't recall.
I wish the exercise box was broken down into small time increments (three 30 minute slots or four 22.5 minute slots equaling 90 minutes). Dr. Peter M. Miller, author of the "Hilton Hilton Head Metabolism diet, suggests exercising 20 minutes twice a day 20 minutes after eating a meal. According to Dr. Miller 70% of calories are burned through the metabolic process and 30% of calories are burned through exercise. Exercising 20 minutes...20 minutes after a meal jump starts the metabolic process thus enhancing one's ability to lose weight. I don't have 90 consecutive minutes to exercise.
