Kerala experienced a historic and devastating flood on this August. Many homes and businesses were destroyed. More than 220 Public Libraries were destroyed. Most of the books were lost, and the building needs significant repairs and many even need to be completely rebuilt.

Other aim of this venture is to preserve good hard copy books for future generation. As you know after 244 years of publishing, Britannica Encyclopedia stopped printing hard-copies from 2015 March 12. Now many classic books are not in Print . Many houses have good volume of books that are lying untouched and getting destroyed. These books have to preserved properly in Local Libraries for coming generations.
