This is an open source application that can be used to turn an Android device (perhaps an old phone) into a "picture frame" for displaying quotes. The quotes are read from text file(s) and displayed (one by one) in random order at periodic intervals (or on screen-tap).
You can use this "example quotes" text file to test-drive the app: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ruqrtjq9c734u7b/example_quotes.txt?dl=0

Here are some of my own book quotes, you can use these as a starting point to make your own: https://github.com/camilotejeiro/book_summary_quotes
