No joke I'm on facebook Look me up,I am there.. This browser is the fu%king best there is. I have tried them all.. This one is fast. No ads. Great. .. I am your fan now.. Nothing wrong with it. .. Hey the creator of this hmu. Okay I'm back.. It does have 1 flaw.. No settings! I can't find any setting on this?
This could use some improvements, like an uncluttered homepage, or even blank page for new tabs. It's probably not as clean or as stable as modern browsers like Chrome go. Also, it's built on Firefox 24.0, so most Firefox extensions won't work, only ones that work with Firefox Android 24.0 and below. But I'm not complaining. There's just one guy maintaining and updating the desktop browser, so I can see why he dropped Android. This is the only way I can sync my Pale Moon desktop bookmarks and history on my desktop with my Android. Logging in with my recovery key didn't work, I had to use "Pair a Device", but at least it syncs. So, until Chrome blocks ads, or accepts extensions, or until there's a way to sync my Pale Moon bookmarks with Firefox Android, I'll be right here, waiting.
With my last phone (HTC Desire 320), this browser performed very poorly... However, since their update, as well as the upgrade I made to my current phone (Alcatel OneTouch Idol X), I have no issues with it anymore. I definitely recommend this browser to anyone looking for an alternative to the mainstream, as well as for those wanting a well-performed browsing experience. =)
This browser is not developed anymore, it will only receive security fix. Because of that it can't keep up with the web. It crashes everytime you go to a page with media content such as videos and it's extremely slow compared to Firefox/Icecat. As much as I love palemoon for pc, I cannot recommend palemoon for Android. I just hope someone will step up for the development or this browser will die on Android.
Love it, except 1 thing needs to be fixed. I love using Pale Moon as my web browser ever since I saw it in a YouTube video, not only because the Windows version uses the old Firefox 4 interface, but also because it uses my favourite search engine as its default. However, with this Android version, while it's nice, there are still bits of Firefox orange in the interface, such as in the address bar when text is selected, and the text pointer arrow.
Could & should be much better Constantly crashing. I have no idea why and apparently neither do the developers, because several versions have been released and the problem is still present. Considering how Mozilla is destroying Fx, I WANT to be able to give PM a higher rating, but the app's performance doesn't warrant it.
This is a compatibility and security update. More details on the forum: https://forum.palemoon.org/viewforum.php?f=39
Note: This version of Pale Moon for Android is not actively developed and maintained for security/stability only. Due to expertise and manpower constraints, we cannot continue this volunteer effort without damaging the main-line browser development pace - more details about this can also be found on the Pale Moon forum.
