Review from Viki Hansen-Landis
I really like this app in theory. DT songs have been instrumental in helping our daughter share, try new foods, and transition from one activity to the next. We sing them often in our day. I was looking forward to having snippets of all these songs at my disposal... But I'm disappointed the app includes video clips so prominently. Right below the button to make any song play, there's a big enticing still shot of a video clip between 2-4 minutes long of the episode featuring the song. It even has a play arrow on it. Nearly every kid recognizes that at once! My child wants to play that video any time I pull up a song. That disrupts the flow of the day/renders this app useless for me. I wish the screen just said *in text* "see the episode here" instead. Alternatively, I would pay for an "upgrade" where I could remove the video from the app.
My daughter loves this app. I only wish it had the bedtime song: "It's time to sleep; the day is done. Let's countdown to calm down, 5 4 3 2 1.". I also wish the potty song had 'Wipe' in it, as girls need to always wipe...
I absolutely love this app! First off, it's a great app! If your kids love Daniel Tiger, then it's definitely a great app! The only thing that I found that was a little bit of a let down is there isn't many songs on it.
I had to take this app off my phone because my kid loves it so much, she wouldn't let me have it. So I put it on my husband's phone. Ha ha sucka! Seriously, tho, this app is awesome, easy to use, no bugs. My kids sing Daniel Tiger songs to get them through life's challenges, and that is just effin magical.
Please fix the issue where the screen times out and locks while playing video clips.
My son is 1 and we only really let him watch Daniel tiger. I love the emotional awareness of this show. This app is awesome I love the parent tips and talking tips! So awesome
It was a god game but it did not have many songs on it
This version includes 4 new songs -- Curiosity, Playing On Your Own, Say What You're Feeling, and Trying Hard. We hope you and your child are enjoying Daniel Tiger's songs together!
