App is basically unusable I want to like this app, but it is plagued with issues, and the layout is horrendous on my Nexus 10.. Not to mention they basically made a clone of the iphone user interface, and it doesn't even scale correctly. Why no option to browse the gallery from the app?
Can't upload photos Logged in and able to create albums but when it comes to uploading photos to fill the albums, there was no response. Layout and scaling of the fields and buttons is also awful - looks nothing like in the photos above. Needs a lot more work put into it. It would be nice also to able to view the uploaded photos.
This just not an app it just portal the site into the app frame. So many error popup and I am unable to use this app with my site. I wish the developer can really work on it. I don't mind to spend some $ to get a quality app for piwigo.
Doesn't work, tested with Piwigo 2.4.6 I installed Piwigo instead of Gallery2/3 since I liked the idea of being able to upload pictures from whatever device I had handy. But to my dismay it doesn't work. I fill out the fields (btw, using HTML as UI is not a good experience on a small display) and I try to connect. After a few unsuccessful tries (resulting in all kinds of random HTTP errors, 404, 500, etc) it finally says "200 OK, unsuccessful" ... And that's it, no indication of why a 200 OK would be unsuccessful. After this I uninstalled it and then installed the app for iOS on my iPad (usually iOS versions are more polished or developed, sorry google). To my surprise the app looks just as horrible (HTML interface, little info) and gives the same error. So while I give kudos for sticking to the same UI on both platforms, it's also utterly useless. I tested the app against latest (at the time) official software, Piwigo 2.4.6 running on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS. Guess my hunt for a webbased gallery with a good iOS/Android client continues...
Poor Heard of bootstrap? Terrible layout... Can log in but cannot select or upload photo... This app needs a rewrite!
Good first release Ui Is clean and straightforward, would like to be able to pick multiple photos from gallery instead of one repeat steps to get to gallery two repeat steps to return to gallery etc.. other than that It's good.
