A good start but do fix some things The idea of the app is great and I'm happy I can use it in many countries... as I travel quite a lot. Some improvements would be useful. Like make a bigger scanner, make an option that one can add a barcode to a product in the database (so not to add the product, as it's there already, but add an additional barcode as some products seem to use various barcoded) and my android app stops very often when I try to add products and add pictures.
Scanner does nothing, very small database, may try again in future
Terrible scanner tiny database The scanner is really small and there's no difference in its reaction to a product it doesn't know and showing it like a table surface or something. I'd recommend a barcode scanner like on the myfitnesspal app. Also as has been mentioned there don't seem to be many items on the database, it could only identify one thing in my bathroom.
You can help update databse You have an option to update a product if it isn't available. You can take a front and back picture of the product. What I'm confused about is the question below "does this product contain microbeads?" and the option is just to switch a button from left to right. If you flip it, it will turn red. Please clarify if the red color means: Yes, it contains microbeads (so avoid it). Or No it doesn't contain beads
Much better than no app at all! Scanner is terrible as unable to give any info but the info button takes you to an alphabetical list of all products currently on database so it is easy to check a product you already have or are interested in buying. It is also possible to add products to the database. A good scanner would however be a vast improvement
Every product scanned produced the message 'This product is still unknown.'. Useless!
- Bugfixes and performance improvements.
- Added Danish language.
