Allows easy creation & download of Pocket Queries centred on your current position or a point selected from a map.
Requires a premium Geocaching.com account
Pocket Queries are a feature provided by the Geocaching.com web site to premium members. When run, a query results in you being emailed with a file that contains details of local geocaches.
This is not a standalone app. In order to actually go geocaching you will need an app that can make use of the Pocket Query results. Try GeoBeagle, the official Geocaching.com client, or c:geo.
This app doesn't do anything that couldn't be done by using the Geocaching.com web site. It just acts as a convenience for those of us on low spec devices who find using the web pages painful when mobile.
Big thank you to the following people for improving the code
- Peter Storch for German translation and other code additions
- Ondřej Kunc

Does what it says on the tin! I use this with c:geo and my 1+1 for paperless caching. Works great!

Totally rocks Been using this to download my queries for cgeo since moving from neongeo. But just created my first query using it, and it rocks, much better than using the website, just lacking a query editor for already created queries. Many thanks for this.

Great tool Recent additions give me all of the features that I want for generating pocket queries. Thanks for creating this nice app!

Crap If im making a pocket query it's because I need a cache with some specific characteristics.. This crap does not let you get specific when creating a pocket query. No min or max for d or t? Seriously that's basic stuff and my only options is 1 or what ever number and bellow? Cgeo basic filter gives you that... the advanced search feature on the official geocaching app gives you better options... how hard is it to incorporate every option available? Lazy and very poorly done....

I'm sorry you are disappointed.
I'm afraid some of the limitations are out of my control. However, you should be able to enter the difficulty and terrain filters with the same functionality as on the pocket query creation web page
The main thing the app is missing is attributes, which maybe I can add sometime Robert Neild June 16, 2014
Where did you have a problem? I just did some testing and everything seems ok Great idea, now fixed still downloads zipped but sends un zip so all is good now also now filters owned caches Sends zip file when that option is unchecked and all my email clients block opening them. Doesn't allow filtering out my owned cache. Those two fixes would make this a solid 4. UI improvements needed for that last star . . . Great idea, though!

I'm sorry for the problems, but when I tested I couldn't reproduce them myself.
When I un-ticked the "Compress emailed PQ" setting - the email attachment was not zipped.
When I ticked the filter "I don't own" in misc checkboxes - the PQ was created to exclude my owned caches.
Could you send me more info Great App If you have an Android-Tablet with USB-Port (USB Hostfunction) you can fire up your Garmin with GPX anytime and anywhere :-)
Great Great, just needs an option to not include my own hides.
pretty useful I wish I had this when I was traveling would have made it alot easier, not there is just the issue of getting the GPX or ZIP file from Gmail
it works! it works perfect on my HTC Desire. Please add option for filtering caches on ignore list.
Great I used it a lot overseas and now with the ability to filter cache types it's an even better app. I recommend it.
Sweet! Works great for me... took less then 2 min to get a practice one made... 111 results with a 5 radius. Thank u!
Little better than nearby search since missing attributes/difficulty/terrain/tbs/premium cache filters. Useful though, ty
I love this app!!! Saves me time!! I no longer have to connect my phone to the computer to build, download and import caches. Thanks!!!!
Works great, I used it with GeoHunter and GeoBeagle, and works great with both apps. HTC evo
No point Started great, put all info in but then it directed me to the geo website which I had to log into separately...... No, no, no, not what I wanted. Shame.
Disappointing Tells me I'm not a premium member when I have been since 2007.
