About this app

A simple FTP server. Allows to exchange files with other machines over wifi. No more USB cable searching. Runs without root privileges. Is not started when device boots (but can if you wish). Control yourself when the server runs. While it runs it prevents standby to avoid long uploads and downloads to abort (configurable). Transfers can be encrypted by SFTP.

Works on Android 11 (read only). Be aware to set timeout on client high, since directory listing can take relative long time.

On my Phone all works flawlessly but unfortunately it can't be installed on a Nvidia Shield. Is there a way you could make it compatible like some ssh servers?

Ad-free, fast. I like the text UI. If you only added a "Log to screen" option to the "Log" settings item for displaying the FTP commands directly on the screen, it would be just perfect. :-) A bit troublesome experience on Android 12 due to the limited file access on these new Androids. I solved it by creating a folder "data_exchange" in the root and set this as a root folder for pFTPd.
