I paid for the pro version and also the Renault addon about 18 to 24 months ago. Then I changed my phone. Re Downloaded the pro version no problemson my new phone (both samsung, note 3 and new one note 4) but would not let me download the Renault addon which I had paid extra for. If Ian knows a solution please let me know. I only give three stars for this, when I get it fixed it will be a Five star. So could you please sort it for me thanks. I AM STILL WAITING FOR A REPLY
At first I thought it was great so I paid for the pro version. Then my android phone upgraded to Nougat. Now, it doesn't connect at all. I'm operating a fairly high-end PLX Kiwi 3 and their tech people were great at helping me troubleshoot. The problem lies with this app. Other apps still work fine. If anyone else has a similar issue, it would be great to know.
Great tool and worth the money I had the free version for quite a while. Its very full functioned and i really didnt need to upgrade it. I loved it so much and it saves me so much money that I wanted to support the developer and buy the full version. Im generally a cheapskate so that right there speaks volumes . i use this tool on my daily driver and i use it on all my friends cars to reset CEL warnings and read diagnostic codes. Tried it on 6 different makes. Only car i cant connect to is the mini cooper. Might be proprietary code?
Very nice intuitive user interface and appearance. It's not perfect but well worth the money. If you find it cannot connect with your vehicle or if an enhanced PID that you want does not work for your vehicle, then try Car Gauge Pro (best for Ford) or Dash Command (best function but expensive). Torque Pro would not display CMP Retard PID for my 2001 Blazer. Torque Pro would not connect at all to my 2006 Pontiac G6 (1st year CANBUS). Torque Pro would not display wheel sensor speeds (ABS) on my 2008 Ford Ranger. Still, I would always start with Torque Pro on a new vehicle if I did not know.
Just plain works and gives you access to a huge selection of live data from the engine. Got the recommended Bluetooth obd2 dongle and have not had a problem at all ever. Only hard thing is finding information like volumetric efficiency for a particular engine to get the horse power and torque reading accurate. When you get that data sorted out and the weight of your vehicle spot on it's actually pretty damn accurate. Code search and reading function works well and is quick. Liked it so much I purchased another Bluetooth obd2 dongle and sent money to my family so they could have their own as a gift.
Great app, the ability to view GPS tracks with second-by-second engine data is remarkable! However the speed shown on the mapping software is ALWAYS in kph rather than mph, regardless of what you select in the options, rendering it more difficult to interpret for British users. Reading the Torque Pro forums this has been an active glitch for over twelve months which really needs a fix! Currently four stars but easily has capability of five stars for such a great app.
**Polite Note!**There are currently a lot of clone adapters circulating that are broken/not working on the CANBUS protocol - if your vehicle isn't working, check the adapter if it's a clone(it may work on older vehicles though)
* Tip: Turn on 'Faster Communications' in the settings!
* Updates to filtering for accelerometer based 'G' display
* Updates ready for new track recorder plugin
Check/clear engine codes, view performance data, fuel economy, customize gauges.
