Still not perfect :-( Been so long now but still... I tell it not to show Time in Current Location in options and it keeps trying to use GPS. Please fix. Otherwise visually good. Another useful feature to add would be to allow scrolling time forward backward so you can see the time in other places in the list.
Nice and easy, but... Works good, easy to set up! BUT: 1) Size of numbers is not changing, when i change the widget size. They stay small. 2) no logical date format is supported. All formats have this unlogical, funny order of showing the day in the middle. Thats so confusing that i had to hide the date!
Sucks battery I have been using the widget for more than an year now and liked. It is simple and does the work. But it started sucking all of the battery in my new nexus 5. All I have is a small widget on my home screen with transparent background and it takes 75% of battery according to the OS's battery usage. I waited for the developer to fix the issue but nothing so far, so am on the look out for a similar app.
Search sucks I wanted a clock to show the time for the place in China where my wife is about to travel. I put the name of the city into the app... Nothing. Then I just put China in.. Still nothing. Then I scrolled through the full list of names and there it was! So I clicked on it... No response. Then I entered the full name exactly as it appears on the list.. Nothing! Fix the search, etc.
Useful widgets The widgets are the size I was looking for and I like the widget customisation options. I would appreciate an option to set the level of transparency for the widget background, rather than just opaque/transparent. The widgets take some time to update when the phone comes out of standby (e.g. in the morning, it seems they update when the minute figure changes). Using a SGS2.
Functional, but battery draining I found this app when trying to keep track of the time for my fiancee who is halfway across the world. I soon realized that this app was quickly eating up my battery trying to get a precise GPS location. Why does a world clock need to know where I am? Doesn't the clock at the top of my screen tell me the time where I am? I really wanted to like this app, but I'm now off to look for something a little less battery hungry.
