This fact-filled, image-rich app is the only periodic table you need.
Ideal if you’re a student, teacher or just have an interest in the chemical sciences.
Did you know that neodymium is used in microphones? Or europium in Euro bank notes to help stop counterfeiting? These are just two of the absorbing facts in our customisable app, based on our popular and well-respected Royal Society of Chemistry Periodic Table website.
• See elements in their natural state and real-life applications.
• Check out podcasts and videos.
• Use our interactive slider to see how elements change state as temperature increases, or explore the discovery of the elements through history.
• Customise your app to see only what interests you.
• Use our simple table for quick access to data – like sorting elements in order of increasing density.

LOVE the app but what's not making it 5 stars is that the elements 113, 114, 115, 117 just been officially named and I would like the information on the elements updated to date with videos

What an app. Really worked out very well for me. Helped me to understand and go in deep of the subject.

Hi fishyman 908, it's good to hear you've been enjoying the app. If you have enabled data updates for the app, then your device should update with information on the discovery of the four new elements, and the History section will show details of the proposed names. The names and symbols will be updated on the main screen once they are confirmed. What an app. Really worked out very well for me. Helped me to understand and go in deep of the subject.
A very good table for all chem lovers. Easy to use and exercise over elements property easily.
VERY VERY nice app By the way names of the four heavy elements (ununtrium, ununpentium, ununseptium, ununoctium) are not updated beacause the new names are not permanent yet and will be updated when they are. The app says so in the description of these four elements. Rest app is amazing and any person who loves or likes chem must have this app. The best part is, you can customise it as basic, intermidiate, or advanced, so you don't have to be an expert in chemistry to understand the basic facts. Loved the app !!!
Alright, fantastic and comprehensive app! Finally! It has all of the information I've put to many years of flash cards - SAVE ONE THING: CRYSTALLINE STRUCTURE! 5 stars when I can see Magnetic & crystalline structure - is it body-centered cubic? Hexagonal? Tell me, and I will love you forever!
LG Stylo 2, MM 6.0.1. 3 R's: Reference, Refresher, Resource I wish mobile technology had been around during my college years. Would have made chemistry much easier to understand and study, in or out of the classroom. That being said, it never hurts to have a comprehensive everyday reference and educational tool at your fingertips. This one is.
Could be better This free periodic table app is useful but it's a little bit buggy and unresponsive as of now. Also, the pictures used to represent the various elements are a bit unclear when compared to other periodic table apps. Thankfully the good outweighs the bad. For example, info is not locked behind a pay wall, access to podcasts and links to Wikipedia for more detailed info is thoughtful. If these problems are resolved, this app will be perfect.

Hi Mr. Soup, thanks for your comments. Please could you let us know the bugs you are experiencing, so we can look into this? Well-made How anyone could complain about a completely free app on account of trivial issues is appalling. Although not the most elegant app in this category, ad-free at this quality is worthy of 4.5* reviews
Awesome! Got shown this by my chemistry teacher and it really brings all the periodic table to life! The videos are especially good, especially by the Professor dude! (Forgot his name but you'll know him when you see him!) Well worth getting for chem students!
Resource hog and slow start-up It works fine off-line, although it has an option to check and update its database. Unfortunately, it cannot be moved to SDcard and start-up time is sluggish.
Great app, but please update the new elements!!! I've found periodic table apps that have updated the new elements, but none of them are as user friendly as this one. So please update the 4 new elements and other new elements of the future ASAP!!! Thanks in advance.

Hi Nikil Kumar, your device will download the data for the new elements if you launch the app, ensure updates are allowed in the settings menu, leave it open for approx 5 mins, and then restart. This is what we need What ever u need is present in it from history to uses...from its state to another form of state, there are more lik electronic configuration and ahh cant remember...ANYWAYS AWESOME APP HELPED FOR MY PROJECT THNX TO U GUYZ!!
Great app Has thorough information on every element. But it hasn't included the newly discovered 4 heavy metals. Also it is quite slow
Not updated It's good but it's not up date... According to my chem teacher atomic numbers 113, 115, 117 and 118 have different symbols... 113 is Nh, 115 is Mc, 117 is Ts and 118 is Og... Please fix this!!!! So I can rate 5 stars
Slow It is hanging a bit behind with the input and makes the app usage almost a pain. Though the basis is good
Good app but Information is great really appreciable but the app is too slow to load and looks unpolished. I'll hope in the update you may fix that
Periodic table I don't rate often, but this is so good. I'm not an expert, so no niggles. I'll encourage people to download this app.
The Best For something as seemingly simple as "just" the Periodic Table, this app is arguably the best available. It allows you to explore to some extent the magic of the Periodic Table.
4 stars due to the lag. I haven't checked yet if the info displayed is all correct, but the visuals are good. Liked it
Best periodic table app out there with lots of facts and information, but you still haven't updated the names of the four newest elements, which is a major turn-off, in my opinion. 5 stars when you update the app.

Hi Dimitris, your device will download the data for the new elements if you launch the app, ensure updates are allowed in the settings menu, leave it open for approx 5 mins, and then restart. Useful This app is always useful for school. If there were a different colour scheme it wouod be better and if it would not take such a long time to load othereise, it is helpful, useful and informative for school
Great but scope for improvement This app can have improvements like a larger vew of the periodic table and instead of a large box for the elements selected just display name and small pictures separate panel for trends and more trends like electronic configuration , electron affinity, atomic mass .Showing groups like representative elements , bridge elements. A print button for printing tables information and photos can also be added.A magnified view of the table when viewing specific groups and periods and also a general zoom in button.
Amazing A wonderful app and has all the facts I need for studies.... But please update the heavy elements' names soon.

Hi Anushka Dashputra, your device will download the data for the new elements if you launch the app, ensure updates are allowed in the settings menu, leave it open for approx 5 mins, and then restart. Amazing app...has all info for every element... Note: Please add the names of elements 113, 115, 117 and 118. IUPAC has annouced it in November 2016. The names are nihonium (Nh), moscovium (Mc), tennessine (Ts), and oganesson (Og), respectively for element 113, 115, 117, and 118.

Hello Arjun, your device will download the data for the new elements if you launch the app, ensure updates are allowed in the settings menu, leave it open for approx 5 mins, and then restart. Outstanding Extremely through, very detailed, but very well organized and easy to access information. Displays atomic attributes in very informative ways. Makes reading the periodic table fun!
Liked it.But more info should be there and crashes every time. Just fix theseproblems and I'll give a5 star

Hello. Sorry you're having problems with the app. Please could you let me know which device and operating system you're using so I can look into this? SLOW This must be THE slowest app ever made! So slow that I often receive warnings that the application has stopped responding and do I want to wait!
I can see the man with the big white hair at the RS saying that this is a great app. I wish I could talk to that guy in real life.
Slow. Looks great. Has lots of information and features. But it's so SLOW. Needs optimising
I can't believe it! This app is WONDERFUL! Everything I need in one place, with no ads! Thank you SO MUCH!
Fantastic app Media rich app for the periodic table. Audio and video links are available for each element, along with its history and background. Highly recommended.
The only one you need Like their description says, the only one you need. Accurate, detailed, and free.
Informative app Please update the last four heavy elements names for 113 115 117 118 as they're now official :-) I'll love app then
Very good, but needs to be more update and have better UI, well please update 4 new elements and add a syncnow button to get lastest data, it would be better to move side bar on left side and etc
