About this app

The app routes calls dialed from your phone's built-in contacts app to VoIP. In settings you can choose when to use VoIP and when to make standard phone calls, based on being logged in to Wifi, and/or based on number prefixes. Visit sipdroid.org for more info.

For optimal battery usage reserve a free VoIP PBX on pbxes.org, and manage your SIP trunks using a web browser.

What I like about this app is how it integrates with my contacts. The app gives me the option to dial a contact either from my cell phone or through my VoIP via the app - very cool! However, I have to subtract 3 stars because on the latest version which I installed there is no keypad, and all the other tabs for call Log, contacts, and groups are also missing. 3rd UPDATE: just tried reinstalling the app again but the same problems remain. Had to return back to ZoiPer.

Edit: 28.6.26 * Dead lines on certainly calls, especially hot lines! Repeat able and not happening with Zoiper or Easybell Apps. * Super idea - I've used it for years and it just keeps on going. Could do with a new pick up dialog - it's a bit too big. Great that it combines SIP with mobile app. Thanks devs. June 6/26 Perfekt with Huawei Mate50pro. Batterie usage negligible, no need for the flaky push system. I wonder if development has stopped?

Not sure why some knock this app. It's clean, simple, lightweight and reliable. Works well with both my upstream provider and my own home grown solution. Even offers features usually only found with "premium" VoIP clients. Even run this on older, low ended Android with limited memory as it's not bloated. Thanks dev!
