Good idea, mediocre execution. I love that I can change brightness from any app. Who wants 2 go back 2 home screen 2 use widget? Unfortunately, this 1 falls a lil short. It's awkward w both volume & brightness windows up & the window stays up too long. Only way to shorten time is to buy pro version. I don't mind paying for extra features, but don't like when dev makes things purposely difficult or annoying to coax us to buy. There's a similar, yet better, app that I found that uses search button.
Works great on Droid2. Easy access either w/volume or status bar, good settings options. Wish the phone would let it go dimmer, but that's on Moto!
It does not allow you to use the volume buttons to adjust screen brightness. Pushing the volume buttons only brings up a slider, which you then have to use your finger to adjust. I wanted this so that I could brighten the display when it was too sunny to see the screen, but this app still requires you to use the screen to adjust the brightness.
Misleading name: rocker does not control volume I'm rating this a 2 because of the misleading name. It does not, as I had hoped, reassign the volume rocker, or adjust the volume. It just displays another on-screen control, which you still have to manipulate with your finger. In other words, it is no better or easier than using the built-in settings, unless you really like advertising. I'm just glad I didn't pay for the "pro" version before trying it out.
Brilliant No more need to navigate through menus and app draw screens. Just tap volume button and adjust. Best part is that it works during full screen apps such as video players and YouTube.
Concept is great and works perfectly. Only thing is it uses a bunch of cpu, anyway around it. Other widgets do the same task and use less cpu. Mottoi1
