About this game

Karts. Nitro. Action! SuperTuxKart is a 3D open-source arcade racer with a variety of characters, tracks, and modes to play. Our aim is to create a game that is more fun than realistic, and provide an enjoyable experience for all ages.

Discover the mystery of an underwater world, or drive through the jungles of Val Verde and visit the famous Cocoa Temple. Race underground or in a spaceship, through a rural farmland or a strange alien planet. Or rest under the palm trees on the beach, watching the other karts overtake you. But don't eat the bananas! Watch for bowling balls, plungers, bubble gum, and cakes thrown by your opponents.

You can do a single race against other karts, compete in one of several Grand Prix, try to beat the high score in time trials on your own, play battle mode against the computer or your friends, and more! For a greater challenge, race online against players from all over the world and prove your racing skills!

This game is free and without ads.

i just wanna say i'm glad that i could finally play this game again after like, roughly a decade. i'm usually not one to use steering wheel controls, but i'm surprised that the steering wheel is actually kind of easy to use. although i wish you could still add button controls, it can be useful especially in sharp turns. that isn't a complaint, however, and i think this game still deserves 5 stars. 👍🏽 PS: i also really love the add-ons. the more characters and maps, the merrier. am i right? 😂

It's a fun game that works great on low graphics settings on my phone. It's just a shame every update erases your personal high scores. A previous update also included more courses in the standard category, but now they're gone again. Love it though, and keep coming back to it. Edit: thank you for the helpful reply! I have now found the button for the full assets. Appreciate the work you're putting in.

Summary: great game with room for polish. Best thing about this game are all the freely downloadable creatitve tracks/courses so you have a ton of them to play with, and 7 modes available including battle mode, so it's not just racing. I haven't played this on computer yet. Fun selection of characters. The driving is solid. The touch screen controls (while racing), however, are not very intuitive or easy to use. Thank goodness for gamepad support. Decent existing powerups, but more would be fun.
