It's Just Ok. I really miss Astrid, which I never had any issues with at all. This has a similar features but still has issues, I'm going to try this update to see if it helps with the notifications. I usually get notifications late even or not at all. So still some bugs there.
Pretty good It's pretty good, does the job. Just please get a better icon, this one looks bland.
No sound/vibration I'm not sure when it started - Marshmallow update just went through - but all of a sudden I have no reminders. No sound. No vibration. No notifications. During testing all I see is the task go to red as the time arrives. I have checked the settings and everything looks normal. Hhmmm..?? Galaxy S6 with Marshmallow.
After looking at many task manager apps, and eventually shortlisting to two, Tasks is certainly the best I have seen, it is so customizable and easy to use, probably more options than I actually need, but it is great to know they are there if needed at sometime in the future. Certainly the developer has spent a lot of time designing an app, that is both extremely functional, and also looks good as well.
After running this in tandem with another task app I've finally decided on Alex Baker's app. The ability to manage tasks into my calendar clinched it. I'd love to give this app five stars for its robust features but I still have problems with some features that I've not been able to figure out or communicate back. For example I set a filter for tomorrow expecting only to see tasks scheduled for tomorrow. Instead I see tomorrows tasks and any I have not complete today, both repeating and not. Alex has been very helpful and his quick turn around and responsiveness make it hard not to give this app 5 stars - If I ever get the filtering to work showing me only tasks scheduled for tomorrow I'll change this!
Great but some suggestions Best Google tasks client on Android but badly need ability to swipe between task lists and ability to reorder task lists. Need option to add new item to top of list. Option to have 'clear completed' button on the action bar instead of overflow would be nice. Dragging task items feels glitchy. Edit: Thank you for the reply--can't believe I missed that option!
