I am not receiving the verification code via sms. I do not have the option to send it to me via e-mail. I tried restarting my phone, uninstalling app and installing it again. All with no success. I wrote to the telegram help on several occasions with no response. I am very upset as I have many important contacts there that I can no longer get in touch with. All I want is to have access to my account again.

The best msg app. With many innovative ideas to make it user friendly. Nice stickers, emojis,... you can make channels and broadcast what ever you like, same as a radio, you can also make super groups. Many different options for admins. You can hide the group members and change the group administration to anyone you want very easily. The ability to delete the PMs for both side is incredible. WhatsApp is just like a pigeon that want to send your message compared to telegram. Unbeatable

Telegram used to be a good app, it would provide a safe environment to chat and high-level encryption. But they really sold out... first off you can't download any media that sent to you onto your phone, another really annoying thing is when you click the chat bubble it opens in a minimized window and you can't even enter your password because the keypad is blocked.
