Best messenger~ All I can say is that in the short period of time that I used this, I have had no issues with Telegram, no app-breaking crashes, and everything just feels right <3 The only thing I wish is that when you talk to someone privately when finding them in the group chat the phone number should be optional and the screen name should show instead. Otherwise, its perfect~
OK I forgive you!!! I have loved this app since it was released. Now when installing it on a new tablet it REQUIRES a phone number BUT will not accept a valid number. Attempting different styles (with/without leading zero/spaces etc ) produces 'too many attempts'. You have screwed an excellent product! GAME OVER.OK I tried again on a PC and it accepted my MOBILE NUMBER. It needs the mobile to send a verification code. I had been entering a landline. (One to which I direct potential nuisance callers!!)Telegram is back to my fivestar rating....it might help to say why you want the phone number.
ALMOST perfect... The only flaw so far: it doesn't recognize phone numbers in messages, so you can't touch-to-call. When someone send you a phone number, you have to go find a pen and paper to write it down so you can call it, instead of just being able to call right from the number. Telegram, fix that and you're perfect.
Hey guys, look who added the middle finger emoji Can I bribe y'all for it if I take away the fifth star unless it'll be added ASAP? (つ◕_◕)つ
Best Messaging App What I liked about it is that your chat history is sync across devices and you can never lose those chats!! It also have more settings in the app compared to Whatsapp, plus its forever FREE!!! Add the ability to hide profile pic. Add status like the one in Whatsapp and more option when selecting the chats like email chat, archieve, create chat shorcut. Calling should be added too. More Emoji like WhatsApp and also different skin colour emojis will be great. Search Functionality still isn't really good.
Looks fantastic, with excellent performance. Telegram looks awesome and exactly as the developers claim, it's fast with "buttery-smooth" usage... There's plenty of functionality to keep one hooked and because it's Open Source, it's pretty easy to verify the security of this application. I do wish however, that Telegram had integrated video-calling functionality, as that would make this application near perfect... Oh, and give us a Debian package (".deb") installer for Linux-based operating systems (such as Ubuntu)!
