In 2010 our partnership started studying and co-designing ways to help people take more control of the things that are important to them, like time with the grandchildren, or being able to have a family, being less embarrassed about body identity the list is long and individual to each of us, we often call this Wellbeing. BEST-YOU offers you the support to change your lifestyle habits, like our weight activity, the amount of alcohol we drink, connecting with other people that can help and support , so you can achieve what’s important to you.
We refuse to settle for second best. We believe that all of us as individuals, communities and organisations can achieve great things that will go on to not only change our lives, but also the lives of others around us.
So what’s new in Best-You ?
Our latest release celebrates our journey as we grow from Puffell to BEST-YOU, it see’s 7 years of applied insight, co-creation, measurement and learning focused at helping people be their best come to a fully redesigned interface and new and improved user experience. Building on this we have a range of specialist spaces for people with illness including Diabetes, COPD, Asthma and mental health, and the NHS heart age tool for risk awareness of heart disease and stroke all in one place for our users. This means family and friends can be on Best-You, supporting each other on joined up live well journey’s. A fully personalised experience.
We are excited to welcome you to Best-You, the latest digital space for self care and stronger self management. Best-you is a fully integrated lifestyle place and is actively supported by public health and the NHS.

Who have we worked with: a wide collaboration of 1000’s of people in communities “citizens”, patients, carers, commissioners, CCG’s, NHS Trusts, Public Health England and NHS England, AHSN’s, Charities and many more. We have developed an evidence based, behaviour change tool, with outcomes & results, a measurable lifestyle companion, even better, people on Best-You also meet in person in their communities via our groups and friends spaces.
Does it work?
Yes. In a resent controlled trial run by a university, we ask a group of people to take a journey around improving their activity. On average people recorded a massive 21% increase to 86 minutes a week , not only did they achieve that significant improvement in activity but 50% of the people in the trail tackled other lifestyle behaviours including alcohol consumption, healthy weight and to quit smoking. On average people on best you loose 3% of their body weight in 8 weeks, and reduce the drinking by 2-3 drinks when they do drink and have at least 2 days a week they don’t drink.
