Good open source note taking app (Update) Finally succeeded syncing with Tomboy on Linux Mint using Syncthing (and perhaps BitTorrent Sync - haven't tried but there is a guide for it).
Unable to view/edit rich format text I tried the latest version 0.7.5 on both my S3 phone and Note 8 tablet but neither can allow me to edit or view the note text with formatting as shown in the screenshots above. Please help me make it work. Thanks.
Worthy Attempt Not very usable without feasible sync and notebook support. rainy server is not something the avg user can install. As is, presents a random list of notes. Good as a stand alone basic note app or to read a limited number of notes from tomboy
Nice app but little disappointed Creates notes well. But syncs from its single folder. So when syncing it reads notes but not notebooks. That makes it incomplete as the main purpose is using it with Tomboy notes from Linux. Please make this happen :) Update: as reported in launchpad this will be a feature in the next 0.8 release.
Works awesome Wow. Got it going in less than 5 minutes. Using with btsync rather than a server. This is just incredible. Thank-you! My only wish would be to use the notebook feature. But really that is so trivial compared to instead awesome secure private note sync with almost no effort!
This is a great App. I use an external sync utility to synchronize the data folders and so far it works like a charm.
