About this app

Have you ever tried to download a video that is displayed inside a tweet? You can play it, but you simply can't download it. This app will let you download them in a very easy way:

1. In Twitter, select "Copy Link to Tweet" in the tweet's upper-right corner menu
2. Switch to this app and click "Paste", then "Download"

Optionally you can click the "Share" icon in Twitter (lower-right corner), select this app and it will take you directly to the download page.

Features:
- Paste directly from clipboard
- Download as MP4 (Twitter's native format)
- Download as animated GIF (infinite loop)
- Choose target directory (or Gallery)
- Supports x86 and arm architectures
- Needed permissions kept to the minimum
- Does not need access to your Twitter account
- Download History record (beta)

If you like this app, please support my efforts by purchasing Tweet2gif Plus! It will also give you:

- AUTO feature, to avoid changing screen
- Ability to select different qualities in some videos
- Ability to enlarge the download History record

If you find a problem with the application, please kindly send me an email before giving it a poor rating.

I saw a lot of bad reviews and steered away at first, but ended up coming back and giving this a shot when others like it kept having certain issues, and honestly? I haven't really noticed that big an issue. It works better than the others, and I like that it gives me the option to choose between mp4 and gif format. My only qualm is how often it brings up premium, but all apps do that nowadays really.

It worked well for what I needed it for. A nice and efficient app! Keep up the good work. *Been running into issues where it's unable to download gifs or clips, it mistakes gifs for clips and clips for gifs and errors out. So I lowered the 4 star score that I originally gave down to a 2 star one for now. It's erroring again when I'm trying to download a video. Just lowered the score to 1 star. It worked for a bit, but it's broken again.

The app generally does what it is supposed to. However, I had to finally uninstall it because it constantly hijacks any attempt to click a link to view a tweet, even when the tweet in question contains absolutely no media for it to download. The app has never been set as a default, and even when setting my browser as the default to always view tweets, Android will ask again the next time I click a link (and as noted above, tweet2gif will still try to open regardless of your choice).
