The Central and Western District Health Centre, operated by the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs), provides primary healthcare services within the community, expands public and private healthcare networks, and connects community and rehabilitation resources. Its work includes health promotion and education, the implementation of a pilot program for co-management of chronic diseases, matching family doctors, health risk assessments and healthy life plans, vaccinations, chronic disease management, community rehabilitation services, and support for government pilot programs.
Since its establishment in 1870, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) has been committed to its mission and commitment to "treating the sick and the needy, caring for the elderly and the disabled, promoting education and nurturing talent, and supporting the young."
