About this app

This free PITI mortgage calculator allows you to enter required data to help estimate your monthly (or bi-weekly) payment that includes the principal and interest components, property taxes, PMI, homeowner’s insurance and HOA fees. You can also optionally check how your extra payments can bring down the total interest outgo and accelerate mortgage payoff. The amortization calculator also calculates the total of all payments including the one-time expenses & down payment, extra payments, taxes, insurance and fees. You are also presented with a detailed mortgage payment schedule. You can choose to share this information via e-mail, SMS or any other messaging app. You can also save the results to your favorite note taking app.

The calculations are good, but there is no ability to share the visual results (not even a downloaded image). Ideally, a short link to the calculated results that appear the same as in the app would be produced. It only allows you to share the text breakdown, which is less than ideal.

Don't like the new version. "Simple" vs. "PITI" didn't need them broken up. Just zero out the %s for tax, insurance, etc. and you have PI only. Then in "simple" there is no ability to add extra payments as those would be independent of taxes and insurance. Also don't like the back feature as it seems to kick me back to past calcs vs. letting me alter what I want. Nice to have the history ones to go back to, but both features together would be much better. Like old version more than new.

I appreciate your detailed (albeit not so favorable) feedback. If I add extra payments, it wouldn't remain "Simple" anymore. The Millennials and Generation Z want everything short and simple (e.g., YouTube Shorts, TikTok, short Tweets). 'Simple' calculation will make it easy for them. Glad you liked the history feature.

Awesome app!!! It has everything you need to plan your payments with different scenarios. One feature request would be the ability to save different mortgages and all the inputs. This would help to compare multiple mortgages by being able to flip between instead of having to re-enter the data. Thanks!
