About this app

The Association of the European Planing Industry (VEH) has been a leading authority on high-quality planed timber and a driving force in research and development for approximately 50 years.

The VEH Quality Guideline (8th edition, 2026) – a compact and handy reference work for planed timber – is available in print, as an e-paper, and as an app in German. This allows for interactive and clear access to content for customers in the planing industry, private consumers, timber merchants, and professional wood processors. Compliance with these quality guidelines in production by VEH members is audited annually by an external body (Holzforschung Austria). This ensures that all customers are offered a product of the highest quality – VEH Q.
