Brilliant for Keeping track of everything. Wish I could edit the health of players mid battle to keep track of that, but otherwise loving this app. I did however find a bug, for example if I have two effects with save ends on a player or mob it will ask me if they suceeded against the second effect twice rather than asking the first then the second.
Great, want more! This app is great for it's purpose. Loved the free version and upgraded right away. However, it has a few features that are really geared for 4th edition. I would love this even more if it supported 3.5 and pathfinder. Also, a field to let me specify attack types and damage for PC's and monsters would be great (ie: Longsword, 1d8. Claws, 1d6...etc). Cheers!
Does everything you'd want This app seems to work well and keeps track of a lot of info. It's perfect for DM's who want to have saves and stuff in front of them. Only suggestions to the app creator are to add an NPC option in a 3rd colour text, or maybe 'groups' for allies and enemies. You can change icons but I wish there were some to choose from, of just simple colours. Keeping track of rounds would be helpful too.
Love the App Im a newish DM and this has made my life so much easier. This makes tracking combat and xp so quick and painless. One of the best apps i have ever spend money on. The only option i would love to see is to have it not roll initiative for players when you roll for the monsters. Right now it rolls all. So i have to find them in the list and edit. It would be easier if they were left at the top so i can easily add it in.
Not bad Could use a "undo" or rewind feature. Preloaded status effects would be awesome. Or a way to create status effects out of combat. Ran smoothly overall. Oh an in app photo editor to crop and rotate photos would have came in handy as my pics weren't loading in the right orientation. Not bad for. 99 cents at all.
Excellent combat tracker As an old school dm, entering the digital age was slow and painful. Now I am slowly discovering apps that have made me wonder why I was so resistant to the change and this app is on the top of my dm toolkit. My players love the quick entry and speed with which combat now takes place through the use of this app. No longer are spell durations neglected or status effects subject to reconomancy. Everythi g gets logged quickly, set it and forget it stlye. Useful in so many editions and systems. Love it!
Bug fix: If field name Surges is changed, it now shows up as changes
Made AC, Fortitude, Reflex, Will, Perception and Insight accept negative values (so the range is now -128 to 127 instead of 0 to 255), predominantly for users who use these fields in other roleplaying systems
