Oct 22, 2025 review - used to work flawlessly, now the widget is not working ("No events", freezes, etc.) ORIGINAL REVIEW: I really like the app and the widget. I've enjoyed it for several years. The widget has a new event age setting that lets you choose current age or upcoming age. I thought it was broken, but I just needed to set it as desired (upcoming age).

Was working great, but since I upgraded to Android 16, the Widget doesn't work. The widget works initially but eventually ends up just blank. I have to remove the widget and re-add it and it's fine again for a little while. Kind of disappointing. No other app out there is as good as this one. Ok the plus side, the app itself still works, as do notifications so I don't miss anything, but I do like seeing the upcoming list on my home screen. Hoping for a fix soon!

My Google calendar "booted out" all my contacts' birthdays on each of the days so I no longer had a daily reminder to know whom to wish a happy birthday or anniversary to. (I now count too much on all the info stored in my cell phone which is not a good thing!) This app was a lifesaver for me. I just had to allow the access into my contact info which made the installation process quick and painless. Thank you for offering this app!!
