Results not accurate I have a Nexus 5X running stock Android 6.0.1, non-rooted, and this app used to display accurate speeds when connected to my WiFi? I was getting about 120-125 Mbps down, 12-15 Mbps up, now it's around 25-30 Mbps down and 7-10 up!? WTH? I've tried different servers with the same results for any of them, no matter which host I choose. Uninstalled/reinstalled app as well, no change. Please FIX ASAP!
Use it every day I miss jitter test! That would be awesome. A bit unreliable (upload) measurements when passing 100Mbps, but ookla web tests seems to have the same issue.
The best. This is the best speed test app there is. Always reliable. The only thing I don't like is the ads. I wouldn't mind paying a dollar to remove the ads, but there is no option to do so. It's odd, too, because the Play Store page says this app contains in-app purchases but I don't see any. I just don't like ads running in the background as tests have shown ads account for 30% of battery drain on average.
App is good Issue is small whenever you do a second test many a times the app fails to connect to nearest server .were as immediately if you restart the app it connects .this needs to be fixed...
Great, clean, useful app! As my title describes, great, clean, useful app! The ads were not annoying like other free apps have. I highly recommend it! Even worked on my Acer Iconia tablet!
Best Speed App. Period! They predate smartphones. Been using service since they began over a decade ago. Request: I would pay monthly if you monitored my cable speed with daily, weekly & monthly reports and alerted me to slowing & offline status. Thanks to your team.
We've added a few updates to make the Speedtest app even better. Have anything else you'd like to suggest? We'd love to hear from you.
If you rely on Speedtest to diagnose connectivity issues and keep your internet service provider and carriers honest, we'd be thrilled if you would leave us some feedback on Google Play. Thanks and happy testing!
