Always shows an accurate download and upload speed, whether using Wifi or mobile data, even with VPN. Nice to be able to compare results in a lengthy saved list. Reliable as PC version. Also provides measurement options in MB/s & kB/s which aren't available on PC version, as well as choosing Single or Multi connections. Has a speed test for video resolutions to see what your device can handle via your carrier or WiFi. Shows accurate speeds using your VPN, or one they provide.

Good, relatively simple to use app, but a couple criticisms: - On low end phones like the Blu G91S, the video streaming test crashes the app since the phone is literally incapable of anything beyond medium bitrate 1080p, and I think in my opinion the app should detect that. - uses waaaaaaay to much data on ultra fast 5G mobile networks, accidentally sucked up the remaining 0.7 gb of my monthly allowance on my carrier, and I already have at least 4gb of data per month

I recommend this app to EVERYBODY. I produce online music performance events, and I always have my clients test their connection speed with the Speedtest app. Not only does it give me very important information about their connection speeds, but it's the easiest, clearest way for them to see and understand the difference between sending out a video stream over Wi-Fi vs doing that over an ethernet cable. This is an ABSOLUTE MUST-HAVE on every mobile phone, tablet & computer.
