Paid for the ads removal and after update I have ads again. Not impressed by this, u took my money and now I have ads even tho I paid for the ad removal, and even removing the app and then re-download it and still the same thing. Very upset by this. As i have used this for many years. The app is handy. But paying for somthing and it didn't remove the ads, I feel ripped off by this and I should ask for a refund, or have my app with no ads like I paid for!!!!!!!!
By far the best app with minimum frills. I would have given 5 ***** but stopped short for just one issue. Today practically everyone has 2 to 3 data plans like Bsnl, Jio, Bsnl broadband etc. The app should identify in the result which provider has what speed.
Please increase dynamically the maximum speed on the dial... getting 80+ Mbps speeds here on wireless (Android 7.1.1) but your dial maxes out at 50. P.S. Loved discovering the cat easter egg... Was saddened to learn that the furry cat passed away. 😢 RIP😇
Terrible! You guys should admit there was an issue with Android 7.1.1. No mention in change log. It appears to be fixed now but we had no idea if it was the connection. The only way was to try other speed tests.
Nice app use it a fair bit but the developers need to listen to their customers. 1 change the limit to 200mb's as the Internet speeds are evolving. 2 make the app available in landscape mode please for tablets....it's a little thing but I check the speed on my tablet which is set to landscape mode. Hopefully the next update will resolve these issues.
Specific changes in this most recent update are not detailed, so here's the one that's immediately noticeable and very welcome ᎓ the app simply operates faster on the whole, mainly evidenced by the near-total ELIMINATION OF LAG between the different phases of testing, i.e. between ping and DL, between DL and UPL, and between "test again" and initial ping. Elimination of what was often substantial lag was a much needed and much appreciated improvement in an otherwise excellent app, which, for the PC at least, is the de facto standard in its field.
We've added a few updates to make the Speedtest app even better. Have anything else you'd like to suggest? We'd love to hear from you.
If you rely on Speedtest to diagnose connectivity issues and keep your internet service provider and carriers honest, we'd be thrilled if you would leave us some feedback on Google Play. Thanks and happy testing!
