Review from A Google User
Useful, some ideas It would be nice to have a column in the reports list to show signal strength, and to be able to easily click a link to show google map of the recorded GPS coordinates. Also would be nice to allow sorting of results tables without exporting to csv.
Been using this for years.Came in very handy recently, when testing out a new phone/sim on a different network, turned out I made an unnecessary change in mobile providers.I switched back to my previous carrier, thanks to the info this app gave me! Shows the proper speed you get, same with wifi speeds.Keep in mind, results will always be different, but shouldn't be that extreme of a difference. All depends on time of day, congestion in the network!
Altragious I paid in order to have adds removed. After my phone updated the OS, the adds are still there. I sent to the developer an email but he did not give a damn. DO NOT PAY TO HAVE THE ADDS REMOVED because it will not be. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS APP.
Cool but could be improved It will eliminate doubts if the result page could indicate the coordinates of the Location the test was carried out especially if it's testing network from a BTS site. All the same, thumbs up!
Not accurate There is a vast difference between the test results with tests carried out via my laptop.
It's good to know your speed of phone and computer internet speed This interesting I like the idea of test the speed and connection of your phone and computer but I have an sumsang s6 edge plus on sprint and noticed the speed is different when my phone is cleaned and ram cache is cleaned and phone boosted it's faster and speed reach 200 download 100 upload also using Comcast wifi it faster then 4g in up and download speeds as well ping. Thanks for a great app product also it depends on the devices more ram plus 3.2 Oct processor.
Sucks! I have Sprint service, I had them all, At&t, T-Mobile, they all suck, but never had Verizon, because Verizon is way to expensive and sucks the worst! I have unlimited everything, also unlimitedGB for $60, Verizon would be $200+ a month, rob you, But, this app really sucks, it always says network error, it did only one test 10 bing, 27 mbps straight internet, 17 mbps download speed, app needs fixing badly!
Bug fixes and engine improvements for even more test accuracy.
If you rely on Speedtest to diagnose connectivity issues and keep your internet service provider and carriers honest, we'd be thrilled if you would leave us some feedback on Google Play. Thanks and happy testing!
