By far the best app with minimum frills. I would have given 5 ***** but stopped short for just one issue. Today practically everyone has 2 to 3 data plans like Bsnl, Jio, Bsnl broadband etc. The app should identify in the result which provider has what speed.
It does the job, but the UI is really outdated and just simply bad. It literally has not changed much at all ever since it was released long ago during the first versions of Android. The iOS version of this exact same app looks like a completely different system. It's much more streamlined, visually and has a few more features. Since I use both, iOS & Android, I can't and won't bash either one. Both OS' have their pros and cons. However, get this Android version on-par with the iOS equivalent.
Great App, works well. My WiFi speed measures correctly as 110 Mbps, why is the gage limited to 50 Mbps? Gage should have a choice of a higher scale. I found the kittens in the app, has anyone else?
I have been using Speedtest by Ookla for many years now to make sure my ISP's are delivering speeds that I pay extra for. This is especially useful given the recent NBN speed issues in Australia.
After experiencing how ISPs mislead users on speed, this helps them to show where they stand. Though they don't have honesty to face it..
Very reliable app although there's a room for improvement. I'd like to see the addition of search feature whereby I can search for specific server which is currently only available on web platform.
We've added a few updates to make the Speedtest app even better. Have anything else you'd like to suggest? We'd love to hear from you.
If you rely on Speedtest to diagnose connectivity issues and keep your internet service provider and carriers honest, we'd be thrilled if you would leave us some feedback on Google Play. Thanks and happy testing!
