About this game

Yet another snake game ?
This one dates back to 1987, on Macintosh. Same developer (older)...
Initially based on the concept of Snake Byte for Apple II, it includes many more features.

Snake games are very common, now, but here you can taste the very unique flavour or a vintage game from the 80's. Simple to play at first, but becomes harder with time and levels.

Features:
- The snake must eat all the apples to move on to the next level before the timer adds more apples.
- 30 levels in the original REAL-SNAKE world from 1987.
- Several worlds/sets of levels are available, and you can create and share your own with an embedded level editor and sharing capabilities.
- Several themes are available, based on classical movies: from High Noon to Duel or SF movies. Several color themes also, including some Pantone colors of the year.
- 5 different speeds, the last one being almost unplayable.
- Your best scores and the best in the world are recorded, and the corresponding games can be viewed in replay. Anybody can replay the best games, at different speeds.
- Original music that you will only find here. Please enjoy... or mute.
- Play with touch screen or keyboard / game controller, even on a remote screen or television.

This is the first version on Android.
There is an iOS version and a Mac version also.
Old original versions for very old Macs can be found easily via the dedicated site or on the internet

This game is completely free, no ads, no in-app purchases, no personal data collected.
