About this app

This metronome is extremely precise. It uses the Android module PF-Seq, which is precise and accurate TO THE FRAME (44,100 frames per second).
Sample Metronome lets you use your own "sample" (audio clip) for the metronome tick. The app comes with a few samples to chose from, but you can copy your own audio files into the app's directory (Sample_Metronome in the device Internal Storage), in order to use them.
Being able to change the tempo, while the metronome is playing, and change the sample selected, while the metronome is playing, is very convenient. The dial control also provides makes easy to use. You can use the dial to arrive at the tempo, or you can type in a specific tempo, with decimal precision that probably goes way beyond what anyone would need.
The app can run in the background. You can acually listen with headphones and open a separate recording app to record a track, while the metronome is playing.
