device is great, but the app...there's no reason for the toolbar to be in a coordinatorlayout, just keep it a static height and always show the menu! swipe-to-remove feels extremely slow/laggy as well.
Needs to allow shared logins like every other app does, without forcing user to add a second Google account to the entire phone. Ridiculousness.
Update: the app has been updated since my first review, it's a big improvement over the previous app, but still needs some work. Things are organized better, but it could still give more information and data about how your pet is using the hub. Original review: Great device, the app is horrible. The main screen of the app somehow manages to be both cluttered, and devoid of any useful information. All of the information and functionality is contained in a single feed with zero organization. This app needs to be completely rethought and redesigned. The hub is great, but without a functional and useful app, it's a hard purchase to justify.
Outstanding device, needs an app to match
The app is still very much in Beta, and so it wouldn't be fair to judge it as a final product. That being said, there are some wonderful and some challenging aspects to it. One frustration is the empty notifications-if I don't look at the app for while they pile up. Looking forward to the bugs getting worked out is development continues.
Device doesn't deliver food enough to keep dog interested. Just opens with no food. App is horrible. Really disappointed. Feeling ripped off.
We’ve added push notifications for low food so you can know sooner when to refill your pup’s Hub. Additionally, the new version guides you in setting up your Hub on a new network.
