The title "Nodes" is a reference to the Bydgoszcz Water Node, but the name also has a symbolic meaning - it refers to interpersonal bonds and the intertwining of the fates of the inhabitants.
At the exhibition, we will get to know Bydgoszcz, which is inextricably linked with the Brda River, the Bydgoszcz Canal and the Vistula River, and we will feel the spirit of the city where important events intertwine with stories about the everyday life of its inhabitants. We will go back to the past and trace the last 170 years of Bydgoszcz's development, and then look at the challenge that awaits us - how to protect the city's water resources from the climate crisis.
The exhibition was created thanks to the involvement of many institutions and private individuals who shared their collections and memories with us.
