The Happy Baby application is a personal diary for every parent, to used during pregnancy and after childbirth. We realise that the pregnancy, childbirth and caring for a newborn baby is not only a beautiful but also very demanding time for both, the mum and dad.


Pregnancy mode
With this mode, you can stay calm during your pregnancy week by week. The visit planner will control the dates of tests and medical appointments, and a shopping list will help you gather all the things you will need to pack for the hospital. The development and size function will let you see the size and the following stages of foetus development.

Key functionalities - Pregnancy mode:
- Pregnancy calculator and days to birth calculator - they compute the current week of pregnancy and days left to the birth of your baby.
- Development option - Description and a 3D visualisation of the foetus development.
- Interesting facts and practical information about pregnancy development week by week.
- Shopping list with the sections: care, hospital packing list - hospital bag, baby at home.
- Check up planner - reminders of doctor's visits.
- A List of the Most Popular Names - name registry serves as a helpful resource for parents who are still choosing a name for their child.


Baby mode
With this mode, our application will assist you in child raising and even the newborn baby cry or developmental leaps will be nothing to be afraid of. The regular monitoring of breast feeding and baby sleep time will make your parenting simply calm day by day.


Key functionalities - Baby mode:
- Personal breast or bottle feeding diary - this feeding journal allows you to monitor your baby's meals, whether they are breastfed or bottle-fed.
- Child raising assistant - hints for the mum and dad.
- Recording the duration and frequency of sleep - this sleep tracking log helps you monitor your baby’s sleep patterns, aiding in healthy development and the creation of an optimal sleep schedule.
- Diaper change frequency diary - recording and tracking how often the baby is changed helps monitor their hygiene needs and overall health.

Ratings and reviews

Nice and easy to use - has all that is essential and has it simple to edit or review. However, miss "night mode" because app makes screen very bright and ignores set screen brightness or "night light" set by phone's general settings. Would be good if there was a section for adding vaccines. Another thing - time while feeding doesn't count properly.

Używałam tylko jednej jedynej funkcji - śledzenia karmień - a i tak po kilku dniach myślałam, że coś mnie trafi. Ilość błędów działania bądź najzwyczajniej w świecie źle zaprojektowanego UX powala. Po kolei: 1) wchodzimy w karmienia, u góry wyświetla się "ostatnie karmienie 2 godz. 42 min temu *prawa pierś*" - zawsze prawa, niezależnie od tego, czy ostatnie karmienie faktycznie było P czy L. 2) patrzymy na listę karmień poniżej - wszystkie dodane przeze mnie karmienia mają ikonkę butelki, zamiast prawej bądź lewej piersi. Miało być użytecznie, a jest zbędny, bezsensowny obrazek (a prawa/lewa została przeze mnie poprawnie ustawiona). 3) dodajemy nowe karmienie: klikamy na godzinę, pojawia się idiotyczna lista do przewijania. Nie dość, że brak możliwości normalnego wpisania godziny (z klawiatury), to po 59 nie jedziemy dalej na 00, tylko lista się kończy. Jeśli o 18:10 chcę wprowadzić karmienie z 17:55, jest to masakra. 4) ustawiam - znowu niewygodnie - długość karmienia, po czym orientuję się, że karmiłam prawą. Klikam "prawa pierś", czas karmienia zmienia się na 15 minut, muszę ustawić jeszcze raz. Nie mam miejsca na więcej. Cóż, pozostało odinstalować i ściągnąć wygodniejszą apkę.
